Rim Treasure Toy Fox Terriers Companion Puppy
To protect our line, the individual dogs, and the breed, Rim Treasure Toy Fox Terrier companion puppies must be spayed or neutered within 120 days from the date of purchase.
As the buyer of a companion puppy, you agree to spay or neuter the dog within the time frame and to prevent the dog from producing any puppies. I will retain registration papers until written proof of alteration by a licensed Veterinarian is received. Any breach of this agreement will result in ownership reverting to me as well as liquidated damages. A delay due to medical reasons that is confirmed in writing by a licensed veterinarian would not be subject to the 120 day spay and neuter requirement.
We recommend you discuss alteration options with your veterinarian when you take your puppy for its first health check. We also recommend removing any deciduous teeth at the time of spay/neuter and encourage you to microchip your TFT at this time.
As the buyer of a Rim TreasureToy Fox Terriers companion puppy, you will be required to sign a copy of the following contract:
Companion Contract
I, Joan Stradling, hereinafter referred to as Seller, agree to sell one male/female Toy Fox Terrier [description/name here] hereinafter referred to as Dog, to [buyer name], hereinafter referred to as Buyer, for the sum of [price]. This Dog is healthy with no evidence of illness to the best of the Seller's knowledge and is up to date on vaccinations at the time of sale. This Dog is sold as a pet and must be spayed/neutered within one hundred twenty (120) days from the date of purchase. Seller will retain registration papers until proof of alteration is provided to Seller in writing. Buyer agrees to spay/neuter Dog per the terms of this agreement and to prevent Dog from producing any puppies.
Buyer has 72 hours from the date of purchase to have Dog examined by their veterinarian. If Dog is found to have a debilitating congenital defect or any communicable disease by a licensed veterinarian within that 72 hour time period, and said veterinarian provides a written statement that Buyer can send to Seller, Seller will replace Dog with one of equal value. Seller guarantees Dog against Von Willebrand's and CHG. If Dog is found to have either of the afore-mentioned abnormalities by a licensed veterinarian, Seller will replace Dog with one of equal value upon receiving from Buyer a licensed veterinarian statement affirming diagnosis and proof of alteration of Dog. Buyer may opt to retain possession of Dog.
Seller retains right to reclaim Dog should Buyer discontinue ownership. The Dog may not be sold without the prior written consent of Seller. If at any time, whether by choice or other circumstance, Buyer is unable to continue ownership of Dog, Buyer agrees to contact Seller, prior to placement or sale of Dog.
Buyer pledges that Dog will receive quality veterinary care and that Dog shall be maintained on a quality diet. The Buyer may at any time return Dog to Seller. Any shipping costs incurred are the responsibility of the Buyer. Seller may also reclaim Dog should buyer fail to keep Dog in acceptable conditions and should Dog's health and welfare be at risk.
Buyer assumes full responsibility for Dog after leaving Seller's premises/presence at time of sale including, but not limited to, medical or veterinary expenses. Any breach of the Contract by Buyer will result in ownership of Dog reverting immediately to Seller. Buyer has read and fully understood the foregoing and agrees to all parts and portions thereof constituting a legal and binding agreement.
